Minty Raspberry Twist
Spring is here, so let's drink a Spring inspired cocktail! I recently went on a vacation to Florida for 2 weeks with my husband and children. We went to Disney, a chocolate factory, the pool, Ripley's Believe It or Not and shopping of course. While in Epcot I become inspired by the amazing flower and edible gardens. It made me want to race home and start planting! Of course it's a bit too early for that so I did the second best thing, make a drink with garden inspiration.
MINTY RASPBERRY TWIST
First, grab some fresh mint from your garden, indoor pots or store bought. You will need at least 5 mint leaves to give it a good minty flavor.
Next, grab a few raspberries and put them with the mint in whichever glass moves you for the moment and muddle away. If you don't have a muddler, you can use anything that will mash and blend.
I decided to use rum to give sweetness to the drink. I put 2 shots of Bacardi and mixed well.
I was at Fresh Market today and found this amazing cucumber soda. I love cucumber anything, so of course I had to have it. It gives a fresh crisp flavor to the drink. Fill your glass with ice and pour the cucumber soda on top.
And you're done, enjoy!
